Meet Sully!

Sully is a love of a dog and knows no strangers - he is quite a happy, social boy.

We're aren't sure what Sully's breed mix is, but his foster thinks he has a Beagle type personality, excpet that he rarely barks. He may just be your true Heinz 57 and have multiple breeds in his bloodline giving him his beautiful coloring. What we do know for sure is that Sully has a very affectionate disposition and is overall a gentleman.

Sully does have some hearing and vision loss likely caused by genetics. Due to having Cataracts that cause Sully a slight vision impairment; he can be leery of very steep stairs/steps. However, once familiar with a stairway he takes them like a champ. He would do fine as an only dog, but it would be good for him to have a companion dog to assit him when he gets older.

Due to his vision/hearing impairments we are recommending a home with children over 10 years of age that are able to be more aware of his needs.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
