Description:

I am a very energetic, sweet girl who loves to play with the resident dogs. I LOVE to be outside and run! I want as many toys as possible! I can entertain myself with toys - not so much of a "go-fetch" type play, but I love to throw toys around and shake them till they hurt! :)

I love going for car rides and the wind in my hair! There is so much excitement in life that I eventually get so pooped out, that I do my frog leg lay-down and or curl up on a cushion. I love to be loved and give lots of kisses.

I am getting use to my kennel. I don't go in there on my own (yet), but when my foster mom picks me up - I go in and curl up and sleep. I am realizing it is my own little place and it isn't that bad!

I would do great with a family with kids a bit older (6 years +) - only because I really like to jump to give hugs and get attention, and I may topple a little toddler down. My foster mom thinks a family with kids would be wonderful for me though and that I would be very entertaining! She also thinks I would do great in a home with other dogs. Either one - either kids (with dogs), or just dogs - but something to entertain me!

I am currently in a foster home that has a fenced in yard. One side is a 4 foot chain link fence, and I haven't attempted jumping or climbing it. I don't try to escape or climb fences. I just love to run the yard, play with sticks, chase other dogs, or steal balls from the resident dogs. My foster mom thinks I'm pretty funny running outside, because I leap when I run and get high in the air. I am so happy to be outside and play! My foster mom thinks I'm so cute with my big black ears and eye patch. I'm pretty much adorable. Plus, I have soft fur and soft kisses. Will you please let me kiss on you and love on you? And play with me? I really want a forever home where I can be the life of the party!

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
