Description:

What a fantastic little companion Halo is! So sweet and smart she has adapted quickly in her foster home. She does well with other dogs similar in age and energy, kids and cats. She picked up on proper leash walking almost right away and now loves her daily walks. When she is all done having outdoor adventures she will gladly ammuse herself with a good chew toy and then take a nap. She can be a bit vocal on walks when she sees a person or other dog she would like to meet.

She is gentle when eating never gulps her food down but waits for you to feed her very well. She is very very smart and easily trainable. She is two but is alert and bouncey like a younger dog. Very healthy and athletic. She will do well in a home with calmness not too much loud chaos. She loves bed time and sleeps snuggled at the feet of foster mama.

Halo is such an amazing little girl whoever adopts her will be very lucky.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
