Julius was shy when he first came to his foster home but warmed up to his foster family quickly. He plays daily with his foster brother and welcomes any new fosters that happen to come and go. He is curious about the cats but behaves himself for the most part!

Julius loves to play with his foster brother but makes sure to keep an eye on his foster mom so she doesn’t get out of sight! He really does like to be with his humans and craves their love and attention. He is not reliable with children, who may be too fast, noisy and unpredictable - so a home without kids is a must !

After you’ve been gone for a while, Julius howls with delight when you get home, his little quiet howl is so cute you just have to hear it for yourself! He loves to cuddle while watching TV and even sneaks in a chance to sit in his foster mom's while she is working during the day.

Julius loves to go for a walk and has progressed well on his leash skills. He is quite a snuggle bug; he loves to curl up next to you under the covers and sleep the night away.
Julius likes car rides, but his favorite thing to do is playing with other dogs in his foster home or sleeping on the couch or chair.

He is a gentleman at all times - so well behaved! Julius is a very sweet boy and is so easy to take care of. He knows how to sit and take treats nicely and loves lots of attention and he is very smart. He would be okay in a apartment or a house.

It is with deep longing that we wish there was a breed called "cute" as we believe all of our dogs would fall under this new breed classification!

Completion of an Adoption Application via our website www.midwestanimalrescue.org is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is the first step in our adoption process.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
