Meet Lady,

Lady has been in rescue over a year now. She is in a wonderful foster home who has gotten her through multiple surgeries for broken teeth, entropion(rolled in eyelids), etc. She started having seizures after we rescued her from the impound and the foster family has been very good with her vet appts and she is now on a lower dose of potassium bromide and is regulated VERY well. She is an amazing dog with a wonderful spirit despite the neglect she obviously came from.

All she wants for Christmas is a forever home. She has been with her foster for a year and LOVES them but they want her to be home for good and Lady wants to open up her spot in their home for another poor soul in need like she was when the took her in.

What better time than now, by fostering her over Christmas,(while her foster family goes home to visit their families) to find out if she is a fit in your home?! you can spend a week with her and then decide to adopt her or not. If not, then she goes back to her foster family right after Christmas =) Perfect for everyone! Fill out an application below!

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
