Koda is a 6 year old black and tan Miniature Pincher with docked tail and natural ears.

I am a very happy and curious little boy. I love spending time in my foster Mom's fenced in back yard. There isn't an area that I have not investigated. When it was still warm, I would sun bathe on the deck.
Tug of war is one of my favorite games. I don't get to wild and understand when its time to settle down. My foster sister likes fetch, I enjoy watching and running with her, but its not really my game.
I enjoy my daily walks and hope my new family can continue providing me with them. I can't get enough of all the smells out side!
Being outside is my absolute favorite, even in the snow! But not for very long as I get cold fast.
I know how to sit and am gentle when taking treats. My foster Mom always makes me "sit" and "wait" before being released for meals. It is good to have manners and patience.
I am kennel trained but very reliable in the house. My Foster Mom leaves me free during the day cause I never have any messes or get into any trouble. I like to nap un till you get home for play. I currently live with two other dogs and a cat.
You can pick me up but I am a very independent pup so no carrying me around. But i like to wear my coat outside in the winter and the new sweater I got for Christmas.
When I tire out, I'd like to hop up on your lap and snuggle.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
