Description:

Hi, I’m Ginger (aka- Mila)! I enjoy playing with my 2 foster brothers (65lb male lab mix & boxer). We play tug-of war a lot, which I usually lose, man my foster brothers are strong when it comes to pulling the rope! I also enjoy chasing them around in the backyard. Once I get tired-out from playing with them, I usually find a spot to crash on the floor (since my foster mom doesn’t allow dogs on the furniture) and take a quick nap. I love cuddling up next to my foster mom for good belly-rub. My favorite toys include but are not limited to a bone, a ball to chase or a good rope for tug of war. Although I’m still young, my foster mom is starting to work with me on basic commands and I’m on my way to being fully potty trained. Now you might ask yourself, what do I do all day while my foster mom is at work? Well, I’m in my crate with some toys, some country music on in the background and I nap on and off throughout the day waiting for her to return. At night when bed time rolls around I sleep in my crate, I might whine for a min. or two, then I drift off to sleep until it’s time to get up and start my fun day all over again. I’m not a very vocal dog, but might bark while I’m playing. Overall I’m a good young pup looking for my fur-ever family and home, could that be with you?!

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
