Meet Ricochet!!

He is a darling pup who had the misfortune of living his first 6 months with a family who left him tied to a tree. When a flash flood came they didn’t rescue him, but thankfully some good hearted neighbors did! Now he is a part of the MARS family where he will finally get the great home he deserves.

This boy is SUPER playful and SUPER mouthy. Since he wasn't born with hands and thumbs, Rico believes his teeth and mouth will do when he wants to grab your hand, or nose, to go play!

He definitely needs a home that will teach him appropriate play behaviors and give him plenty of exercise. He ADORES people but is TOO much "naughty puppy" for small kids so he would do best in a home with active older kids who are experienced with puppy behaviors.

With a little time and training, he will be a wonderful dog. He is fun loving, sweet and affectionate. He is a growing puppy, who at 6 mths old is already 63 lbs, so he will for sure be a very large dog, maybe even reaching 100 lbs potentially.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
