Freckles is such a sweetheart and would love an active family to call his very own!

He already knows his name and comes when you call him by name or a whistle.

Smart and treat motivated
Great with other dogs and wants to romp/play with them.
Loves toys (especially squeaky ones) or a rawhide bone
Housebroken
Rides great in the car

When he settles down he lloves to snuggle up and cuddle too!

He sleeps well in his kennel at night and doesn't have accidents in the kennel, but is still learning to be on his own in his kennel while his human family is away.

He will benefit from simple puppy obedience classes. He's good at keeping himself occupied, but being a puppy so still gets into a bit of trouble if left on his own without some human guidance.

He will make a great family dog or would do well with someone that would keep him active. He's a perfect candidate to learn agility!

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
