I need a new foster home!

Triton is a mastiff mix puppy, who is around 8 months old. He has the huge head of a mastiff, with a body that is more like a lab. He is only around 45 pounds right now, so we're not sure how big he will get.

Triton somehow ended up at a rural high kill shelter. The clock was ticking and his time was running out. MARS found out about this sweet boy, and saved him before the clock stopped ticking. He just arrived in rescue and was settling in to his foster home when we found out one of the family members is allergic to him.

Triton is a very sweet boy, a total lover dog. We walks fairly nicely on a leash for such a big puppy. He quickly learned to heel, and only needs to be reminded periodically. He is a puppy and likes to chew, so it is important to have bones and tough toys around.

He needs to move to a new foster home, due to allergy issues. His current foster home has been working with him on potty training and he is doing great with that. He seems to have had issues in his past with men, and doesn't trust them as much as he does women. If a male in the house makes a sudden movement, Triton will run and hide. He will need extra time to learn that not all men are going to hurt him.

Triton has some separation anxiety issues, so they are also working with him on that. He just wants to be near his people, and gets stressed out, when he is alone in his kennel, thinking his is going to be abandoned again. He has no problem going in to his crate, he just gets unhappy when the door is shut. We need to find a new foster home that can continue to work on these issues with him. Doesn't he deserve a second chance? Can you help?

URGENT: Triton needs a temporary foster home, while we work to find a forever home. We provide the food and cover all authorized medical expenses.
