Sweetwater is just that she is SWEET! This lovely lady has had to be a momma more times than she should have. She was left at a rural shelter in Mississippi along with her last litter of pups. All of her pups went home but Sweetwater just sat wondering when it could be her turn for once.

Sweetwater is a sweetheart.  She is a very agreeable dog.  She walks beautifully on a leash, waits to walk through the door. Does not pull, easily takes gentle suggestions as to where to go, when to stop.

She tolerates but does not choose to interact with the cats, so far.  No other dogs in the house so can't speak about that except to say she is very easy going. The sending shelter did note that she doesn't like to have other dogs in her face. She does like to be near me, not a velcro dog but just likes to be in the same room.

She loves her meals but waits patiently for the bowl to hit the floor before she gobbles the meal down.  She loves treats but waits for them and takes them gently from the hand. She goes in the kennel willingly for the night and once in a while she goes in on her own to take a rest.

Her potty training is getting better.  She did a happy dance after she pooped this morning.  I just need to figure out when she wants to go out because I've missed the cues at times. Seems like if we get in a good walk in the morning, she gets it all taken care of, but not always.  

She is a big dog who thinks she's still a pup, though she has recently raised pups herself.  She tries to crawl into my lap. I think she would enjoy the company of a young person who could run and play with her.  

In this low-energy house, she rests quietly on her bed between walks, treats and meals.  Sweety is definitely a GOOD GIRL.
