Meet Lil Anne! Lil Anne is such a sweet and playful girl. She is currently in a foster home with several larger dogs and one cat, and loves having all this canine and feline company around. She enjoys playing with dogs but also like to chill and cuddle with her foster parents. Lil Anne is working on basic commands, knows “lay down” and now working on “sit”. She loves exploring in the back yard and sometimes tries to go on little adventure trips by herself, so her foster mom brings her back. Lil Anne is dreaming of spending some quality time at a dog park, all the running she could do! She enjoys playing with other dogs and lets them having the upper hand (paw). Lil Anne loves to go for walks, too. In her foster home, Lil Anne is kenneled when alone, and goes into her crate without a protest. She is making great progress on her housetraining, but prefers to go out a few times a day if her humans are around to let her out. She is a quiet girl, so you’d rarely hear her bark. She likes to chew, and really appreciates having a chew bone or a rawhide around. Lil Anne loves treats! And, she’s patient with being brushed or having her nails clipped. This girl is great with adults and teenagers, and may show you how excited she is to meet you by jumping up and down. Lil Anne would love to be adopted by a family or person who would appreciate her good nature and, hopefully, take her to a dog park.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
