Hi! I am Lucille!

I know you have been waiting to meet me! I want to meet you!

I am a beautiful sleek little 45# princess. I would love to come live with a family that will take me for walks, and to dog school.

I get along with other dogs really well, never make messes in the house, love to sleep right next to you in bed, chase tennis balls, but I really dont like cats.

I am living in a foster home right now with some really great friends and we play all day and even play in the kiddie pool. But I sure would love to have a family of my own!

She is a very sweet dog! Only barks when appropriate, potty trained takes treats gently, not jumpy, plays well with other dogs, and is very responsive to positive reinforcement training. She's currently at a foster home with a 4 foot fence and does not try to jump to escape. For her age, Lucille is such a calm sweet girl, she'd be a great "starter dog" for a family who has never owned a dog before!

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
