Description:

Kai is a super cuddly, sweet boy who charmed his way out of danger after ending up in a high kill shelter and sentenced for that long walk simply because of his breed. The shelter staff fell in love with him and partnered with MARS to give this loving pup a second chance.

Now Lokai is looking for a home of his own. He is currently staying in a foster home with dogs, cats, kittens and even a bird. Kai gets along with all of his roommates incredibly well and loves practicing his sits and stays for some yummy treats.

Kai is one big puppy and loves to play with people and pets alike. He has tons of energy but enjoys his quiet time on the couch watching movies just as much. He is a total package and would love to romp around outside playing or play nursemaid to tiny kittens.

This adorable guy is sure to melt your heart!

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
