Meet Henry!

How cute is this little guy?! Henry is groomed and enjoyed Halloween trick or treating!

Henry is an adorable guy full of fun and love of people and friends. He likes being outside, does great with taking care of his potty needs outdoors, walks well on a leash, learning to sit for treats and finds his favorite chair or couch to nap and lounge about on. He is good in the house alone, doesn't chew or tear things up. He lets you know when he needs attention with an uncanny bark/ bay that you would not believe could come out of such a wee guy! He settles down quickly, just wants us to know he likes to chat every now and then.

Henry goes for long walks with a little coat on for warmth, he being a southern boy and all. Great cuddler in the evenings on a soft and warm couch. Currently sleeps in his kennel but otherwise free in the house during the day. He lets us know he doesn't care for his kennel evening incarceration, but is quiet about it after 5-10 minute drive.

Henry is totally adorable! Brings a smile to all who meet him. Great temperament, a tad shy when meeting new people or dogs, then warms up quickly. You can't not grin when he looks at you and cocks his head, one ear up and asks to share his love of life with you.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS. We do not transport to potential adopters.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
