Meet Binky!

Binky or Mr. Binks is a sweet boy with a heart of gold. He is wants nothing more than to be a good boy. He is working on socialization and some obedience too.    Binky will need a home without other pets and kids who are over 10 years of age.    He is a little lover boy when he doesn't have to deal with the chaos of other dogs and lots of children.

Binks is housetrained.   He is crated when his foster leaves the home for short periods of time.   Binks isn't crazy about his crate, but he tolerates it and settles down after a short bark or two.   He is not a big barker - but definitely uses his voice when he sees things at the window or hears things outside.

He likes to follow his foster around.   Binks loves to cuddle and get belly rubs.   He wants very much to please his people.

To get his energy out, Binks likes to play play play outside. He especally likes to play fetch and has several favorite squeaky toys. He doesn't absolutely need a fenced yard, but would sure make the best of the freedom to run and play. Binks seems to enjoy walking on leash, but definitely needs to work on his manners. He will lunge at passing dogs, squirrels and will pull on the leash.

Binks is a very happy smart boy. He knows how to sit and is currently working on other commands. He will need someone who is patient and consistent with his training. Binks is such a loving dog and with training he will be amazing. Binks will be your best friend for life.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS. We do not transport to potential adopters.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
