Description:
Hi my name is Lucas.  I was found up north when I was really little, shot twice with a pellet gun , beaten, then left for dead. The people who found me took me to the vet to get help, and when I was all healed up, mars said they wanted to take me with them, and make sure I get the best home they could find for me. My foster mom saw me for the first time , and after hearing my story, had to take me home with her, she said she would make sure no one ever hurt me again. And even after all I have been through, I still love human touch. I crave it, and seek it out, because I know that not all people would hurt a cute guy like me.

Right now I live with my foster mom and dad, a 5 year old boy, 2 cats, and 3 other dogs. I get along with everyone.  I am crate training which I don't think it so great, but my mom said I need to learn to do this, even though when I'm grown, I will be so good I won't have to be in one. I am 99 % potty trained, and have not had an accident in the house yet.

I play a lot with my foster siblings, and I sleep in my favorite spot right next to the couch on the floor. When I hear a noise, I jump up and bark and run to the door, my mom said I am going to be "one great watch dog".

I have been told I am a "Big Boy" for 5 1/2 months old, as I think I weigh about 45 pounds already. 

I guess I am looking for a family with maybe kids? I do love kids. And I would really love to have a doggie sibling to wrestle with. If you have cats, that's ok with me, I think they are cool. Sometimes I chase them, but only to play.

Would you like me to be a part of your family? I would love it if you did. I am just looking for that special person to give all my love to.
