Description:
A home with a fenced yard and another dog is required for Reeba Reeba is super sweet! She has done very well in her foster home with 2 older smaller dogs, however, she is afraid of the resident cat. She is pretty perfect, neither bossy nor submissive.
Reeba, like any visually impaired dog, takes a little time to get used to new people and environments. She does well navigating around things and has had no problem with a little flight of stairs.
Due to her impairment, physical change in her environment can throw her off for a little while and if she does not hear someone come up on her, it can startle her and she will retreat to her crate. Her crate is her safety spot. She would do best in a home who is able to work with her in regard to these things.
Reeba LOVES walks with other dogs or even by herself. She is the BEST house-trained dog her foster parents have ever had. She crates well and comes out happy and ready for a scratch. . She will be a quiet, loyal, loving girl for some lucky person.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
