Meet Puddin!

Puddin was surrendered to MARS when her elderly owner could no longer care for her. There was lots of love and homemade chicken soup, but due to memory loss Puddin did not get the grooming and medical attention she needed.

Puddin feels so much better now that she has been shaved, bathed and her nails are trimmed. She is also being treated for a double ear infection and a urinary tract infection. She is very roly poly and once she loses a few pounds, MARS will be spaying and providing a dental for her.

Puddin was very shy at first, unsure of what was happening. It did not take her long to warm up and now she is all full of cuddles and kisses! She does snore like a chainsaw but we believe this will get better with some weight loss. Puddin is good with other dogs and would do best in a quieter house with no young kids or a lot of people coming and going.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
