Meet Trinidad!

Trinidad is a laid back dude who quietly embraces life, but is not a winter guy! He prefers the warmth and comfort of a home setting. He will go out for his bathroom needs, but puts the brakes on for walks of any lengths. In warm dry weather, he will walk and walk, and seems to love being outside.

Trinidad sleeps through the night and is fine staying in the house alone when his people need to leave. He is not a chewer of people things and he doesn’t need a kennel.

Trinidad will let you know when he needs to go out and can lounge with the best of them. He meets others quietly and gently, and is comfortable in new settings.

Trinidad would like to return to his previous svelte physic, as he’s gained a few extra pounds. He’s up for lots of exercise and and healthy eating. He’s ready to be a best friend forever and share his love of life.

He does great on walks, greeting people with wiggles. He stays on his foster parent's side, walking briskly and being very quiet. He is a delight to walk with. Wearing sweater and warm parka helps Trinidad enjoy his walks on the cold, winter days.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
