Meet Knoxville!

  • Loyal
  • Enthusiastic
  • Smart
  • Cuddle Expert
  • Housebroken

This teenage American Bulldog mix came to us after growing up in rescue.  He is a young dog who wants to please and needs someone who will be his leader, teach him boundaries and structure and work his mind.

Knoxville is super smart and learns quickly.  He has never been given a chance. He is a bit much when he meets other dogs so we want to get him in a home and work on manners so he can be socially acceptable to other dogs.

No cats as again he is young and wants to rough house and those darn felines just can't keep up!  Small kids?  Well, he'll knock them back with his exuberance so kids over 14 who are tall enough to tell him no before he knocks them over.

Knoxville is a champion cuddler.  He is always wants to be touching or at least with his dog or human companion.

This boy has lived his life in a shelter environment….Won’t you give him a chance to learn to dog??  He is loyal, housebroken and ready to learn.

*The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility and does not come with a pedigree. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. Sometimes the pets appear to be a particular breed(s) in the pictures we receive from our rescue partners and when they arrive we are surprised to see an entirely different breed(s) in person!  If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess. It is with deep longing that we wish there was a breed called "cute" as we believe all of our dogs would fall under this new breed classification!
