Meet Crosby!

Crosby is a charmer. He adapts quickly to new settings and finds a special someone to
attach himself. He loves to hang out by people, will follow you around the house and sit by your side.

He loves to hang out next to his people and greatly enjoys lap time. He just snuggles up and rests his head on your chest, arms or legs. He enjoys rides in the car, hopping in when invited and checking out the passing landscape.

Crosby is a an amazing walker, going for several miles at a good pace. He does need work on his reactions to other dogs on his walks. He sleeps thru the night in his doggie bed, and is raring to go in the morning. He knows to go outside for his personal needs.

He’s a regal looking guy, with a tail that just keeps on wagging! His ears are the cutest ever, giving him quite the spritely look. He seems to get along well with dogs he meets in his home or on visits. He’s a smart guy, who wants to please, which greatly helps his learning curve. He knows commands to sit, wait and down.

He does bark at action in the yard and when people come to the door. Shared walls might not be in his new homes best interest. Crosby attaches himself to an individual. He’s fine with others in the home, but definitely shows his attachment to his chosen person.

He’s adorable!!!

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS. We do not transport to potential adopters.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
