Meet Max!

Imagine spending every day with that smiling face!

Max LOVES playing in the water and Dock Diving!!

Max is a fun dog, higher drive boy who loves to play ball, tug and any other games. He needs someone who understands boxers. Oh wait did I mention he loves to play ball??

Max would like to be the king of his castle (only dog in the home), getting all of the attention, cuddles and playtime, but he is doing well in play groups with 1 or 2 other dogs at a time at doggy daycare so that he does not get overwhelmed.

He does require a privacy fence due to his high drive to help him stay in his own yard and not going off, freeing the world of those pesky squirrels or rabbits. Max would thrive in a home with no small children, small dogs or cats.

Our trainer will work with and support Max's new foster or adopter to help ensure a smooth transition into his new environement.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
