Description:

Meet Oliver. He was adopted 6 years ago. At f irst t he family could take him anywhere and he was social and ready to be with people.

Then Covid hit, kids came and things changed. Oliver is in need of a new environment where he can get out and do things! Walks, agility, something that allows the border collie in him to thrive.

He will definitely protect his people and is loyal as can be. When at home he is chill, happy to hang out with you.

He does have some separation issues as Mom works from home and they really haven't gone out much since 2020, when covid hit.

He even comes with his own trainer, who will work with the new foster or adopter to help him thrive and get all that pent up energy out.

Who is up for a great dog who really wants to learn, even at 6 yrs old! We would prefer no Kitties in the home, he likes them a bit too much.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
