Hey! Looking for someone to make you laugh and smile every day? Look no further…..meet Diana (aka “Xena” …Dog Warrior Princess)!  She is a young Lab mix who has a zest for life like no other.  She greets each day with happiness and excitement looking forward to whatever the day has to offer and enjoys being with people. 

She is super smart and is quick at learning obedience commands and is always open to learning new games to play.  As with a lot of labs, her favorite activity is retrieving!  She will retrieve just about anything that is thrown for her.  She loves water….loves to play in kiddie pools. Do you like to go running/jogging?  Guess what?...she does too!  Do you go hiking a lot? Oh boy, she would love to join you and has the energy to keep up with you! Do you like to go on long car rides? She will eagerly jump into your car and join you…but make sure to leave the window down so she can put her nose out of the window and take in all the glorious smells!  She is game to try just about anything if you give her the opportunity!  

Diana is very sure of herself and does best with slow introductions to other dogs.  Once they pass her inspection, she is great with other dogs and will engage in play with dogs who can handle her energy. She is good with dog savvy cats. 

Diana is a higher energy dog that finds ways to stay busy she is kept in a kennel at night and during the day when I am not home.  She initially will bark when put in the kennel but once she realizes she is not going to be let out, she is quiet. She is a very good “watch dog” and will alert you of anything suspicious (or your next Amazon package)  that she sees or hears going on around her “property”. 

There is no doubt that whoever decides to adopt Diana will have a life full of surprises, laughs,  and fun challenges!
