This is Eddy!

Eddy is a charming, energetic, smart, fun puppy, approximately 17 weeks old. He loves running after sticks , balls, bugs , and frogs . Eddy has worked out a respectful relationship with our adult cat. He' d love if she would play with him all the time ! He has gotten along well with other dogs he 's met.

H is fur is soft , shiny , and short. He ' s black with a little brown around the muzzle, eye brows and paws — like a bear that has gotten into some peanut butter. Eddy appears to be a Dachshund/Papillion mix. Whatever combination he is, he has longer legs and a somewhat shorter body than a full-blooded dachshund. He 's agile and a delight to watch run and prance . Going up and down s teps is no problem .

While Eddy can be very go -G o -GO , he is a good cuddler, too. Eddy loves to follow us around the house and yard and wants to be close to where we are. H e still has puppy -chewing tendencies, and is learning not to nibble on fingers and shoes.

Eddy doesn' t whimper when it ' s time for bed. He sleeps in his crate and stay s quiet until morning. He' s mostly paper trained, but we're working on outside-only. He has learned to " sit " for a treat.

Eddy has the temperment and potential of being a real pal to someone.
