Chup is a beautiful German Shepherd mix. He’s 5, and we have had him ever since he came to Minnesota 4 years ago. He’s a Georgia dog! But he still loves being outside during the winter.
Being a GSD mix he has a high level of energy and needs either a large play area or several walks each day. He gets along well with other animals and very well with people! We have not trained him to be aggressive and he is a very friendly and happy dog. He loves to play with his soccer ball and chase squirrels.
While we were still fosters we had a cat that he got along with, and although he does get along with other dogs we tend to avoid the dog park. He’s leash trained and he is an energetic walker! Chup is also house trained and kennel trained. We have taught him to ask for food when he’s hungry and for pets when he needs attention. He’s a very smart dog!
He’s also very healthy. We take him to the vet each year, give him flea and tick meds, heart worm preventatives, and he is up to date with his shots. His last vet visit was July of 2023 where he got his rabies booster for another 3 years. We bathe him a couple of times per month and trim his nails.
The biggest thing Chuppy needs is a family who will love him with everything, because he craves your affection. He truly loves people and wants to please us. We need to re-home him because we have a family member with an allergy, after a new marriage. We are heartbroken to see him have to go! But he will make a great addition to your family if you are looking for a dog who loves you and loves to walk!
