Hi I'm Loki!!! You won't BELIEVE my story! 

One day my sister Luka and I were playing in our yard.  Dad asked us if we wanted to go for a ride so we climbed in the truck.  We thought it was weird when he brought our food but who were we to ask questions...we were going for a RIDE!  Dad drove for what seemed like forever when he finally stopped.  He grabbed our leashes, the big bag of food and proceeded to walk us into a strangers fenced yard.  He left the food by the gate, kissed us good bye, and drove away.  Luka and I waited hours for him to come back.  The next morning this kind woman walked out on her patio to drink her coffee and POOF she was the proud owner of two new Belgian Shepherds!  Well, you can imagine it wasn't what she was expecting so off the pound we go.  

Fortunately an angel contacted MARS and now we are safe in foster homes waiting for our forever home.

UPDATE FROM LOKI'S ADOPTIVE HOME, AUGUST 8TH, 2011:

We are enjoying Loki very much.  What a character she is!
She is just so sweet and fast and funny.  We don't get to the beach as often
as we did the first 5 months as I hurt my knee but Loki does love to wade in
the water and splish splash .At least 5 days a week we take Loki and
Christopher (our other Belgian Tervuren) to the dog park early ,before it is
too hot and she just runs and plays like crazy.  Loki is always the fastest
dog there and does flips over most of the dogs.

We are still working on some obedience issues and she is definitely a
chewer.
She has eaten a few shoes and baskets and things but the funniest was when
we had been gone awhile and she had gotten a hold of a feather pillow and
there were feathers everywhere. What a mess!

Anyway Loki is just the sweetest loving girl and we are so glad to have her.
