Amber's Foster mom wants you to know: Amber knows her name and comes when you call. She loves playing with her sister but enjoys one on one time with people. She is adventurous and loves to explore. She will 'kennel up' when told (as long as you don't forget the treat). She is pretty much potty trained. She doesn't always go to the door but she does hold it until you say "Let's go potty outside", then she runs to the door. She gets along with the 2 other dogs, 3 cats, 1 bird and 1 chinchilla that she shares the house with.
This girl cannot be left alone too long, so need a stay at home or work at home family, or someone to come into the home for doggie day care prior to Adoption. When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care. Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS.
