Calvin is a gentle giant!  He is great with my two dogs, one big and one
small and he loveees people.  He does a great job on going for walks and
runs.  Calvin needs a home with a lot of space and someone who is home most
of the day.  Although he does a good job at going into the kennel for us,
he may need to relearn this at his new home.  Initially he didn't like the
kennel because he was stuck in there for most of the day in his previous
home.  Calvin needs a home where people will not be gone longer than 6
hours each day because he does LOVE being in the presence of people and I
would hate for him to feel abandon again.  He's a huge snuggler are lets
anyone lay on him as a pillow!  I can tell he was loved in his previous
home and he does know all basic commands.  He's a great dog and a great
addition to any family.  Please consider giving this big teddy bear a new
forever home!*

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
