UPDATE FROM HIS FOSTER FAMILY:

Mario (A.K.A. Argos) is a very happy sweet boy that loves to snuggle and play. He will rest his head in your lap and likes to place his paw in your hand. He will spring into the air when he is excited but he doesn't jump on people it's quite comical. He will nuzzle his face on your legs to say hi. He sleeps in his bed with his stuffed dog and a big blanket that he hides his muzzle in. He likes chasing
squirrels and rabbits around the yard. He has learned to walk with his head level at my left side. He does not walk in front or behind me anymore and leaves slack on his
leash. The only time he slightly starts to pull is when he sees a squirrel but he knows the command "leave it". He has learned two hand signals "sit" and "stay" we
are working on "lay down" and "come". He's learning not to beg and to keep a respectful distance when humans eat. Mario loves to play chase and fetch in the yard. He will need a fully fenced in yard because he likes to follow his nose. He likes to be able to see you at all times. Mario will whine for about 1-3 minutes when he his left alone and then he will calm himself down. He licks your hand when he needs to "potty outside". He doesn't join in when the other neighborhood dogs are barking. Overall Mario has been very easy to work with because he is intelligent and very eager to please. He can usually catch on to what you're asking him to do within
a few tries.

Sometimes it takes Mario a little getting use to small children and they make him nervous. Given a few minutes he does calm down and sniff their hands. Due to this he will go to a home with children over 10 who can be respectful of his space. He is an amazing boy and he is waiting for YOU to click the ADOPT button...come on...Mario is waiting!
