Description:
Meet Levi:
Rottwieller/Shepherd puppy seeking a loving family to call his own! Levi comes fully equipped with the adorable rotty butt wiggle, large grin and minimal drool. His favorite activities include long walks, prancing in the snow, fetch, chewing on his Kong, cuddling and eating his dinner (or breakfast).
Levi needs a loving family that can afford to give him plenty of attention and exercise. While he came to MARS with little formal training, he has large potential! Levi's is doing well with "sit" and "lay down" after a days training and is proud to show you how good he is at "drop it".
In the last few months he has grown accustom to his kennel during the day and goes in happily if you point and say "kennel". He has also made great progress with being around cats. At first he would chase and nip at them, but now is becoming good friends with the smallest cat we have- they have been caught grooming each other on a few
occasions
.
He still has some anxiety in crowds, but does great in small groups or one on one. Levi learns very quickly and responds equally well to pets and praise as he does to treats. He is very eager to please and bonds quickly to those who show him attention and love. Levi will be a great companion and love you for life!
His sister has found her forever, it is Levi's turn!
When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care. Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS. We do not transport to potential adopters. How to learn more about a pet: Complete the application (click on the button above) to start our process for adopting or fostering a MARS Pet. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance. Pet Breeds: The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility or Shelter partner. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess without knowing a pet’s full history.
