Meet Dollie!

Dollie is a beautiful chocolate Am Staff female approx 60lbs. Does fine with cats, kids, dogs. We estimate her at approximately 1 - 1 1/2 yrs old. Dollie loves to cuddle up to you in a little ball on you lap when you talk to her and pat your chest with one foot. This little sweetheart has I WILL BE YOUR BEST FRIEND WRITTEN ALL OVER HER FACE.

While visiting with Dollie, a family with young girls came in. Dollie very gently went over to get petted. She moved slowly and was not a threat to knock them over. She definitely loves children. Dollie also loves belly rubs. It appears she's never had the opportunity to play with toys. She had no idea what to do with the tennis ball.

Dollie has just been placed in a foster home and is now seeking a forever home. Dollie would be so grateful for the chance to love you. Please make that possible for her.

Where do I start with little Dolly (aka, Dolly-bally). She is an absolute joy to have around! She loves going for car rides and going on daily walks. She does extremely well on a leash. She is crate trained (of course, a treat is always given) and completely potty trained! She loves attention! The more the better! She will roll on her back for tummy rubs. She loves going down to the lake; all kinds of people to play with her. She is also great with children! It is definitely hard to resist petting this little girl! She loves her 3 feline siblings! Unfortunately, only 2 of them love her :) She is very respectful of the one who doesn't care for her. When he hisses Dolly will run away, poor little girl :) It would be great if Dolly found an active family or couple to adopt her. She can be somewhat crabby with other dogs but if properly introduced I think she would love another canine companion. She tries to play with the cats but they have no idea what she is doing. It is not an understatement when I say that she is wonderful and such a precious little girl.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS. We do not transport to potential adopters.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
