Description:
Hi, My name is Little Boom! You won't believe what I've been through in my life!! I am a survivor of Katrina. From there I was taken to Texas and adopted, but the woman who adopted me ended up being a Hoarder of dogs (WAY too many of us furry four leggeds) and was closed down by the county. So then I had to move again. On top of this, I am Heartworm Positive. The wonderful people in Minnesota have cared for me to make me better. I am not contagious so, please do not let my diagnosis scare you away. I'm in a foster home and am almost cured now. I would really like to just be home for good. I love dogs and horses too. Not to fond of them cats, but I JUST LOVE KIDS! I am housebroken and crate trained. I will dazzle you with my knowledge of basic commands and I never ever beg at the table. I love my stuffed toys and usually you will find me with one in my mouth. I would do just about anything for a game of fetch and I also would love to be someone's lap dog. I am mellow and easy to please. A pet, some love and food and I am a happy boy. I'm really ready to settle down and live in the same place the rest of my life. Could your home be the forever home I've been longing for? I hope I can meet you soon! Love, Little Boom Little Boom is about 4 years old. He is a sweet, loving and beautiful dog. Little Boom will make a great companion for someone. He is extremely intelligent, well-behaved, and is a very good dog. Please feel free to fill out an Adoption Application on our main website, www.midwestanimalrescue.org, by clicking on the Form/Applications link under Website Features. Thank You! When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care. Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS. We do not transport to potential adopters. How to learn more about a pet: Complete the application (click on the button above) to start our process for adopting or fostering a MARS Pet. Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks. Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance. Pet Breeds: The pet you are viewing is a rescued pet which is most often from an animal control facility or Shelter partner. The breed(s) listed are our best guess and are in no way guaranteed. If you choose to DNA test your adopted pet, test results may vary from company to company and our breed guess may not be reflected in those results as it is just that, our best guess without knowing a pet’s full history.
