Meet Lizzie!

Lizzie came from a local shelter and is looking for a forever home. She is 4-5yrs old and a fun little girl.

She is very active and would love a home she could run around in. Lizzie is good with cats, dogs and people.

Update from the foster home:

Miss Lizzie may have a few years under her belt, but she is all puppy. She has picked a favorite foster sibling. They enjoy chasing each other and friendly games of tug-o-war. If you have another pup in the home that loves to play, Lizzie will certainly free up some of your time.

She is smart. She learned to sit on day 2 and we are working on her potty training.

Lizzie has no aggression. She's pure sweetness and don't let the puppy looks and actions fool you, Lizzie is a snuggler! My lap is her lap as far as Lizzie is concerned. If she's not on my lap, she's never far away.

She crates during the day and most nights, loves walks and is good with dogs as well as cats.

Lizzie would do well with a playful doggy brother or sister. She is the definition of unconditional love. If you can offer the same love as she learns what it means to be part of a family, then please ask for more information on Lizzie.

When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.

Long Distance Adoptions: Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption. We require a meet of the pet prior to adoption, which means coming to MARS. We do not transport to potential adopters.

Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.

Post Adoption: Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. We highly recommend Pet Insurance. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
