Little Miss Dot, as we are calling her, is such a little sweetie. We think she is a cross of a Boston Terrier and a Fox Hound. She has been with us for a few weeks now and took a little while to warm up to our dogs (A Boston and a Boxer). She loves to cuddle and a morning belly rub will make her day. She is very well behaved and she never gets into trouble. She loves to play with the stuffed toys that are littered around our home. She loves to just hang out in the yard and sun bath. She is now running around and playing tug of war with our Boston. She does get defensive when the Boxer try’s to join in the fun, as we suspect she is feeling ganged up on. She quickly gets over it, as she exits the situation. She will bark and be a little sand off-ish when a new person or dog comes in the house but she quickly gets over it and will be asking for their lovin’ in no time. She has never had an accident in the house and goes in her kennel daily without any fuss. She sleeps with us and loves to cuddle up next to us.

We have noticed she seems to have a little more frustration with tan colored dogs. We suspect she was picked on by a tan dog in her past and would rather not be near them. She has done fine with Boston Terries and white boxers. She has shown interest in our cat, wanting to chase him. So she might do better in a cat-less home, or with a dog savvy cat. She is great mid-sized dog with a calm sweet personality.

She will make someone a great companion. She would work very well as an only dog, or with one other dog in the household. Her new Furever home will need to understand that she may take a week or two to become acclimated to her new home and will be scared and withdrawn until she becomes used to her new surroundings and schedule. But the wait is well worth the reward and personality she will display when she lets her guard down!
