.**MUST LOVE KISSES***

Hello! My name is Katy and as you can see from my tagline, I LOVE to give kisses! I came to Minnesota very sad and very scared but my foster family has patiently loved me while I figured out that I don’t ever have to be sad or scared again! I get along great with the other dogs in the house and I’m working on my interactions with cats. I don’t bother the cats but sometimes when I get excited and want them to play, I bark and scare them so my foster mom gently corrects me and I leave the cats to sit on their perch.

I am fully housebroken and will scratch at the door once or twice to let you know when I need to go out.  I am a quiet pup and LOVE to snuggle on the couch as you rub my belly and I give you kisses. Something happened to me in the past that has made me a bit timid but this doesn’t stop me from loving every person I meet. Mostly, this means that instead of a loud correction like “NO!” I need a soft, reassuring correction with lots of praise when I do the right thing.  I promise, that’ll get the point across because really all I want to do is make you happy! I would love to have a safe spot to go if things ever get to stressful for me and would probably do best in a home where things don’t get too hectic. 

Because I was scared when I got here, I haven’t done too much exploring yet or gone on any walks but my foster parents are working on increasing my time outside and building my confidence so that when I go to my forever home, I can enjoy lots of time with my new family, whether they want to be inside or outside.

My foster parents are confident that I will only continue to get more and more confident as I soak up the love from my forever family. Will that be you?
