Milo
My boyfriend and I adopted a dog, Milo from you on December 4th 2012. I am sad to say that Tuesday March 17th, 2015 we had him put to sleep. He had developed osteosarcoma (bone cancer) and was diagnosed in September. Monday night he slipped and put all his weight on his bad side. He was in tons of pain (and already on a lot of painkiller to help with the bone cancer). We brought him into the vet to see if we had any options. His leg had broken right by his shoulder (in cancerous bone). His cancer had spread a lot. We decided we had reached a point of poor quality of life for Milo. We really miss our big goofy pup.

Moose
Moose crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Tuesday, September 23, 2008. He spent his last night cuddling his foster mom and trying to be as close to her as he possibly could. He got a sponge bath and seemed to smile and tried so hard to say thank you with his eyes. How so many could look at his tiny withering frame and face and not help this sick and suffering baby is unimaginable. How he wanted nothing more than to spend his final night in the arms of his person. He passed so peacefully and painlessly thanks to the care of a few wonderful people. Moose crossed the bridge alone and left us here but we know he will be waiting when we get there, leash in his mouth and smile in his eyes.

Murial
Sweet Murial who had a very rough life came to MARS and was adopted by a wonderful family who gave her the life she so deserved. We lost Murial today to health and old age. We will miss you and will always love you!
