Halloween Pet Photo Shoot

Bring your four-legged friend in costume (or as they are!) for a spook-tacular Halloween photo shoot with Midwest Animal Rescue & Services!

What to Expect:
~ Professional Halloween-themed photos of your pet
~ Fun, festive atmosphere to celebrate the holiday
~ A chance to support Midwest Animal Rescue & Services while showing off your pet’s best look!

Costumes encouraged, but not required. Whether your pet is a pumpkin, a superhero, or simply their adorable self, we can’t wait to capture the cuteness.

Canine & Feline CPR and First Aid Certification Fundraiser for MARS
Learn lifesaving skills for pets and support MARS at the same time!

Registration Fee: $74.95
Includes:

Official 2-year certification in Canine & Feline CPR and First Aid
Subscription to our Online Animal Emergency Resource Center (2 years)
Your choice of the 88-page, full-color manual:

Businesses and groups may request a professional, frame-ready certificate and window decal to display certification

What You’ll Learn
Our program follows the industry-standard method of animal CPR and is designed to give you confidence until veterinary care is available.

Topics include:

Safety when handling sick or injured animals
How to perform emergency triage and recognize life-threatening conditions
Restraining and transporting animals safely
Providing first aid while en route to veterinary care
Taking vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, CRT) and knowing normal vs. abnormal readings
Building and using a pet first aid kit
Managing common emergencies: wounds, poisoning, burns, choking, and more
Performing CPR on dogs and cats (PetCPR+ Certification valid for 2 years)

Tip: Bring a stuffed animal to practice your skills on during class (optional, but recommended).

Continuing Education Credits
This course is approved to award CEUs:

3 CEU for veterinary professionals
3.5 CEU for CCPDT dog trainers
3 CEU for IAABC 3 CEU for NADOI
3 CEU for PACCC
3 CEU for Pet Sitters International members
