Bark Park Expo Featuring the Wiggle Butt 5K Saturday September 16th, 2017 8:00 AM until 02:00 PM Location: Brookdale Dog Park (763) 276-9880 Map: 7650 June Ave N Brooklyn Park MN 55443 Join us Saturday, September 16th for our annual Wiggle Butt 5k to raise money for Midwest Animal Rescue & Services. New this year, we will be partnering with the City of Brooklyn Park this year as a featured event at their Bark Park Dog Expo. Funds raised from the Wiggle Butt 5k are used to help animals all year long. Most of the animals that MARS brings into rescue are at-risk of euthanasia in animal control facilities. They are often the overlooked and left behind. We choose to help all that we can and your fundraising is going to help be able to help even more animals! You are the reason we CAN make a difference! You will be able to have fun all while know that you are saving animals and giving them the second chance they deserve. Bauhaus Brew Labs Pupper Bowl Saturday February 3rd, 2018 11:00 AM until 05:00 PM Location: Bauhaus Brew Labs (612) 276-6911 Map: 1315 Tyler St NE Minneapolis MN 55413 Join us on Saturday, February 3rd for first annual Bauhaus Pupper Bowl as we welcome good doggos and their respective humans alike to partake in a day chock-full of pupper activities and celebration. A tented, heated play area for dogs? Absolutely. Locally made dog treats and wares? You've got it. Pupper Paw Prints from Midwest Animal Rescue & Services? Yup! Street-legal go-karts retrofitted for dogs to drive around our parking lot?! Actually, no. Bowl Games ○ We'll be hosting a series of "bowls" over the course of the day. Aside from Young Puppers Bowl which is defined as pups 8 months and younger (regardless of weight), we have organized these bowls by weight class. ○ Each bowl will consist of 3 rounds, with 10 puppies per round. ○ Puppies will be dividing into 2 teams (5 pups vs 5 pups), with the objective of scoring "touchdowns" with dog toys. ○ $10 gets your pup into one round of their respective bowl + 2 beers. Wiggle Butt 5K & Festival/Bark Park Expo Saturday September 15th, 2018 8:45 AM until 01:00 PM Location: Brookdale Dog Park (763) 276-9880 Map: 7650 June Ave N Brooklyn Park MN 55443 MARS will be hosting our annual Wiggle Butt 5K Festival on September 15th from 10am to 1pm for some full family fun! (5K starts at 9am) Teaming up with our home city's Brooklyn Park Bark Park Expo, we will have food trucks, live music, a bouncy house, professional face painting and much, much more! Miniature horses will also being making a special guest appearance for you to talk to, pet and take a selfie with! Hosted by This Little Horse. The Wiggle Butt 5k & Festival will be a fun time to celebrate our community and our beloved four legged friends while raising funds and awareness for more animals to start their #MARSRoadHome journey! While day of participation will be an option, Eventbrite ticket sales are for advanced tickets to those participating in the 5K. The vendor fair and activities will be open to everyone.
