Clinic Policies
Our policies help ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality care for every patient.
Appointment Cancellation Policy
Please cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 72 hours in advance. Clients who miss appointments or repeatedly reschedule may be required to place a deposit before scheduling future visits. This helps ensure appointment availability for pets who need care.
Medication Refill Policy
For your pet’s safety, veterinarians must examine patients at least once every 12 months before prescribing or refilling medications. This ensures treatments remain appropriate and safe based on your pet’s current health
Surgery Deposit Policy (New Clients)
A $100 deposit is required to reserve surgery appointments for new clients. This deposit is applied toward the total cost of the procedure and secures your pet’s scheduled surgery time. Deposits may be forfeited if appointments are missed or canceled without proper notice.
Accepted Forms of Payment
We accept: - Cash - Credit and debit cards - Tap to Pay Checks are not accepted. Change unavailable.
Volunteers in Our Clinic
You may see trained volunteers assisting during your visit. All volunteers are supervised by our veterinary team and help support clinic operations and patient care. Your pet’s safety and comfort remain our highest priority
Rabies Vaccine Policy
We hold our standards to the highest levels to protect the safety of our staff, patients, clients, and community. All healthy patients are required to have an up-to-date rabies vaccination prior to or at the time of their visit, including before any treatments or procedures are performed. If your pet’s rabies vaccine is due, or if we do not have records confirming current vaccination, the rabies vaccine will be required at the time of your visit before proceeding with care. Rabies vaccination is both a legal requirement and an essential public health measure. Patients with medical conditions that prevent vaccination will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis by our veterinarians. No other exceptions will be made. Rabies titers do not replace rabies vaccination requirements under Minnesota law and cannot be accepted as proof of vaccination.
