Dr. Alaina Nietz, DVM
Community Veterinary at MARS Veterinary Services
Dr. Alaina Nietz earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from St. George’s University and completed her clinical training at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. She then completed a small-animal rotating internship at BluePearl Pet Hospital in New York City, gaining experience across veterinary specialties while managing emergency cases.

Her professional background includes preventive and wellness care, urgent and emergency medicine, dentistry, internal medicine workups, and both routine and emergency surgery. Before becoming a veterinarian, Dr. Nietz also worked as a certified veterinary technician at Animal Humane Society.

Dr. Nietz believes in providing thoughtful, individualized care and helping families understand the options available for their pets. She is excited to care for both MARS rescue animals and pets throughout the surrounding community.
