MARS Community, can you believe it?
Thanks to everyone who joined us at Barks & Bikes with Simply Ride in Eden Prairie, this event raised $744 for Midwest Animal Rescue & Services.
That is a big deal.
Every dollar raised at events like this helps us keep showing up for animals who need a safe place to land, medical care, and a road home.
What $744 Helps Make Possible
At MARS, rescue does not stop at intake.
Before pets are adopted, they often need vaccines, preventatives, microchips, sterilization, medical care, supplies, and time in a foster home where they can settle in and be seen for who they are.
Funds raised from events like Barks & Bikes help us provide care such as:
Spay and neuter surgeries to help reduce animal overpopulation
Vaccines to protect pets from preventable illnesses like Parvo
Microchips so pets have a better chance of making it home if they are ever lost
Supplies and support for foster families caring for MARS animals
Medical care for pets who need more than the basics
It all matters.
More Than a Fundraiser
Barks & Bikes was not just about washing bikes.
It was about community.
People showed up, met adoptable dogs, supported rescue pets, and helped spread the word about MARS. That kind of support is what keeps our mission moving forward.
Whether you shared the event, stopped by, donated, brought your bike, met a dog, or simply helped make the day feel welcoming, you played a part.
And every part matters.
Thank You, Simply Ride
A huge thank you to Simply Ride for partnering with us and helping create such a fun, meaningful day for rescue pets.
Community partnerships like this help us reach new people, raise critical funds, and remind us that there are so many ways to make a difference for animals in need.
We are so grateful.
Every Road Leads Home
At MARS, we believe every pet deserves safety, care, and a chance to be loved.
Events like Barks & Bikes help make that possible.
Thank you to everyone who came out, donated, shared, supported, and cheered us on.
We can’t wait to do it again.
Where all roads lead home.
